About this app

The Northern Logger App is a mobile field tool for logging and forest products professionals, providing calculators and converters for wood measurement, forest assessment, road building, equipment productivity and business finance.

The app was designed and compiled by Dr. Steven Bick of Northeast Forests, LLC, with the help and suggestions of many forest industry reviewers. Development was supported in part by the Vermont Department of Forest, Parks and Recreation, a USDA Forest Service Landscape Scale Restoration Grant, a Farm Credit East AgEnhancement Grant, the Northeastern Logger's Association and Northeast Forests, LLC.
